Car Reservation
In addition to being an economically interesting option, it is a mobility option that offers security,
freedom, and flexibility.
It can be rented online directly on the Localiza website or in the app. It is also possible to make a
reservation by telephone through our Reservation Center, by calling 800 077 0800, ensuring the
availability of the car for the desired period.
Car reservations made on the Localiza website can be consulted on the home page of the website itself,
under the links Consult, Alter and Cancel. The reservation locator number can be used to check the
situation.
No. Car reservations made through the 24h Reservation Center are not available on the Localiza website.
For changes, cancellations and/or inquiries regarding car rental reservations, please contact the 24h
Localiza Reservation Center at 800 077 0800.
Yes. Car reservations made through the website or the Localiza Reservation Center (800 077 0800) may
be consulted, changed and/or cancelled.
Reservations can be rescheduled up to 72 hours before the start date (departure). In such a case, a
difference in rate may apply. In the event of cancellation of a prepaid reservation, there will be no
refund. If you wish to reschedule a prepaid reservation, rate changes will apply. You will have 6 months
to make your reservation and it will be subject to availability.
To reserve a car through the Localiza website or the Localiza Reservation Center – 800 077 0800 – no
minimum advance notice is required.
The daily rental rate of a Localiza car is for 24 hours, with up to 1 (one) hour of tolerance for return.
From the 25th hour of the opening of the Car Rental Contract, an extra hour charge will be included,
which corresponds to 1/5 of the daily rate for each extra hour, as well as additional daily rates for risk
coverage and baby seat, if contracted. After the 5th extra hour, a new car rental rate will be charged.
• The car must be delivered in the same condition in which it was picked up;
• With a full tank of gas;
• In the same physical condition as verified at delivery check-in;
• Clean enough to check the condition of the bodywork.
At the time of return, in case the car does not have a full tank of gas, a refund will be charged for the cost
of filling the car, based on the lessor’s table, which is available at the branch.
Since it is a reading with approximate values, the fuel charge may suffer variation in relation to the service station of up to 30% (thirty percent) approximately.
In case the rented car has traveled less than 100 (one hundred) kilometers and the fuel marker has not
suffered any alteration, gasoline will be charged based on the consumption estimate. In case of an
accident with total loss, theft, robbery or fire of the rented car, a full tank of gasoline will be charged,
regardless of the situation of the tank at the time of the event.
Yes. At the moment of picking up the car, the reservation information will be confirmed. In case you
want to alter any information, such as replacing the car model, this operation can be processed (subject
to availability in our fleet).
Yes, as long as we have offices in the city of return. To pick up and return a car in different branches or
cities and return it in another, a fee is charged, called the return fee.
Yes. To pick up a car at one branch and return it to another, a fee is charged, called the return fee.
Yes. On the main page of the Localiza website, enter the name of the city where you wish to pick up the
car. You can contact the 24h Localiza Reservation Center by calling 800 077 0800.
